Joey Caraccio,
Originally from the small town of China Grove, North Carolina, Joey later moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where he quickly fell in love with coastal living and the vibrant pickleball community. As our new Pickleball Pro, Joey is excited to help grow the game at St. James by creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for players of all skill levels.
Joey will be offering a variety of programming including private lessons, group clinics, beginner instruction, socials, and organized leagues. Whether you are brand new to the sport or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, Joey is eager to help members improve their game while building an outstanding instructional program here at The Clubs.
When he’s not teaching, Joey is usually still on the court training and playing as part of his own pickleball journey. Outside of pickleball, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends, relaxing at the beach, and finding great local coffee spots around town. Joey already has lesson openings available in Court Reserve, so be sure to book some court time with him soon.
