Battle of the Paddle Competition

The Battle of the Paddle Tournament will be held on Saturday & Sunday, September 26th & 27th at Rymer courts. This is a two-day team event.  There will be 4 teams of 25 players.

All teams will have an equal number of men and women and an equal number for each rating category.

All players must commit to participating on both days: 8 – 4 on Saturday and 7:30 – 3:15 on Sunday.  You will not be playing continuously, but you’ll need to be available both days. Please don’t sign up if you can’t commit to both days, as it will create a scheduling nightmare.

Once the teams have been organized and the schedule is set, everyone will be informed of their daily playing schedule.

The tournament will consist of a team skills competition, dinking-only round robins, and men’s, women’s, and mixed round robins by rating. The tournament includes:
Two days of play
Lunch at the courts on Saturday
Drinks and snacks at the courts
Awards Dinner at the Reserve Club Sunday night with a cash bar, dinner, dessert and music.
The cost for players is $50.  Players may bring a guest to the dinner.  The cost for a guest is $68.

The tournament is limited to 100 players and registration fills up fast.
