SUBMIT Request to the Sunshine Club

Who are we?
The goal of the Sunshine Committee is to provide a little sunshine to SJPA members who’ve experienced an illness, injury, or loss of an immediate family member.

What do we do?
–Send a get well, or condolence from SJPA. to members.
–Help coordinate meals through volunteers and friends when needed.
–Coordinate non-perishable food donations to charities in the greater Southport area.
–Assist in organizing social get-togethers to reconnect members off the courts for an extended period of time.

How can you help?
So often we hear, by word of mouth, of a fellow pickler in need and sometimes miss an opportunity to reach out to an SJPA member. You can help by contacting one of the following committee members as soon as you become aware of someone in need of a little sunshine.

On the flip side, we would love to acknowledge happy events as well. We are hoping to have a “And the Good News Is” board established at Rymer Courts to share the exciting news that each of us has marked another year, we have a new grandchild, our marriage survived another year etc. No dates or numbers would be listed, just an 
acknowledgement of the events. Each month, the board will be cleared and ready for everyone to share new life events. Make it colorful by using the different colored
markers. Our lives are colorful and we would love to see it reflected in our Good News.
