SJPA Membership

Pickleball – The fastest growing sport in the US and the fastest growing sport in St. James. We currently have over 550 members!

Your membership benefits include:

Being part of our very successful partnership with Troon to continue to improve the Pickleball experience here at St. James. Your voice will be heard!
Members-only competitive events such as Round Robins and our annual Battle of the Paddle.
Members-only social events such as the Winter Dance and Beach Bonfires.
Being part of a thoughtful organization that gives back to the community through our annual dance fundraiser and other fundraisers throughout the year.

To become a member or to renew your annual (January 1 – December 31) membership:

First, you must be a St. James Signature Sports or Golf member.
Next, complete the SJPA membership form and pay dues
Please note that the SPJA uses a free platform, Zeffy, for membership and dues/fees. When you make a payment, Zeffy will ask for a donation. Feel free to donate, however, it is NOT required. Just click on the % field, select “Other” and change the amount of zero.
Finally, add stjamespickleball.com to your list of favorites and read special posts and articles of interest to our members. You will also start receiving member only email invitations to events.

Additional information:

Events posted on the SJPA calendar are generally for SJPA members only. If guests are permitted, the Event communication will include that information and a guest name will be required during registration.
Social Events that require an additional fee, or for which the fee is waived, are for established SJPA members only.
SJPA Social Events require that you be a paid member before attending the event.

The courts:
- The Clubs at St. James currently has 10 Pickleball courts.
  - All Pickleball courts are limited to Signature Sport and Signature Golf members.
  - Eight courts are located to the left as you come in the main entrance, adjacent to the entrance to the Reserve. They are the “Greg Rymer Memorial Pickleball Courts” and are lighted for night play and have restrooms, water, and ice on site.
  - Two courts are behind the Seaside Wellness Center. They are the “Seaside Pickleball Courts”. These courts do not have lights.

Reserving Courts:
- Courts may be booked seven days in advance in 90-minute increments.
- To book a court, log-on to www.theclubsatstjames.com. Click on “RESERVATIONS”, then, in the drop down, select “Pickleball Reservations”, and log in.
