It’s that time of year to recycle your sneakers ….
The 4th Annual Sneaker Recycling Drive begins September 1st. The drive is sponsored by the St. James Pickleball and Tennis Associations and anyone may participate. The Drive runs September 1st through September 30th.
Drop off your used (or new) adult or children’s sneakers/court shoes/golf shoes (in pairs) at any of the drop off locations [Please no sandals or casual shoes].
Recycle your shoes and keep them out of the landfill! The shoes are shipped to GotSneakers where shoes that can be refurbished generate funds for charity.
- Refurbished shoes are sent to those who do not have shoes around the world.
- Shoes that cannot be refurbished are broken down and recycled.
- The funds earned come back to Brunswick County go directly to WAVES 4 K.I.D.S.
- Please recycle your shoes.
