The Brunswick County Tennis Association’s chapter of the National Junior Tennis and Learning League offers free tennis and educational programs to under-served kids in Brunswick County. This year, they want to add an intro to Pickleball to their summer camp.

TIMEFRAME:
DATES:
–June 22 and June 29
–July 13 and July 20
SESSIONS:
–Two hours long on each day for each location.
LOCATIONS:
–Southport’s Parks and Rec Day Camp is held at Lowe White Memorial Park, 226 East Leonard Street, Southport: 9 – 11 am.
— Lockwood Folly Golf Club: 19 Clubhouse Drive SW, Supply, NC (near Holden Beach) from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
PADDLES NEEDED & HOW YOU CAN HELP:
–15 paddles would be ideal. We need your old paddle that’s collecting dust! A bin was placed at the Rymer Courts by the ice machine for your paddle contributions (these paddles will not be returned.)
—Volunteers are needed to assist with pickleball instruction on the dates given above. The camp averages around 12 kids per session.
–There are typically around 30 kids, ages 5 to 12 participating.
