September Men’s Doubles Event

General Information:

REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 23RD

Set-Up:

• Combined team rating of 7.0 – 7.50
• Four brackets of round robin play 
• Limit of 20 teams (2 players per team; 40 players total)
• Matches consist of 3 games won out of 5 games played, with first to 11 win (need only win by 1)
• 7.0 team gets 3 points before start of play when playing a 7.5 team
• Matches are played at Rymer
• Teams will be assigned dates and times to play
• If matches are rained out, teams will reschedule on their own and will report scores to the Event Committee

Dates and times:

• Round Robins – every evening from September 10th through September 20th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
• Quarter Finals – September 25th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
• Semi-Finals – September 27th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
• Final – September 28th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Round Robin Format:

• Each team will play all teams in their round robin bracket
• The top two teams in each bracket will go into single elimination play
• In case of ties, head-to-head will determine winner

Requirements:

• IF BOTH PLAYERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE DURING THIS TIME PERIOD, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT.
• Must be TROON RATED PLAYER. NO DUPR OR SELF-RATING ACCEPTED.
• Must be a Signature Sport or Golf member.
• Must be a paid St. James Pickleball Association member (Membership – St James Pickleball Association).
